The blue, baldheaded race, the Bolians serve a wide variety of positions in Starfleet. The most memorable Bolian character from the Star Trek television shows, was Mott the barber known for his incredible skill and chatty nature, but many, more illustrious Bolians have appeared throughout the series.

Bolians are often outspoken, even when nobody wants them to be. This characteristic makes them poor diplomats, but effective commanders.
